This project consists of the addition of a new Granular Activated Carbon system and ancillary equipment to be housed in a new pre-engineered building and miscellaneous plant improvements including yard piping, new filter effluent pumps, and rebuild of the floculation mixers.

Construction of a new water treatment facility with other improvements to replace the existing Mt. Ray slow sand filtration system.  The new facilty located on the site of the existing treatment plant consists of a packaged water clarifier/filtration system, chemical feed systems, and underground clearwell and backwash surge tank. A new 12,000 square foot building will be constructed to house the new treatment equipment, along with administrative areas. Additional work is to be performed at the Claverack Pump Station and Churchtown Reservoir.

Removal and repair of existing monolith sections and concrete baffles  comprising the spillway.

Construction of new single story masonry administration building; new influent pump station (wetwell and building) including 4 self priming centrifugal suction lift pumps with appurtenances and controls; new pump station with force main tie-in; and a new gravity sanitary sewer line.

The work includes furnishing and installing a secondary clarifier; primary and secondary sludge pumps; process piping; yard piping; aeration equipment; and appurtenances.

Construction of new Wastewater Treatment Plant as part of the "NYC Watershed Infastructure Program". Work includes Influent building structure, outfall piping, manholes, outfall structure, concrete channels, equalization blowers, influent pumps, equalization tank, aeration tank, RAW/WAS pumping system, secondary settling tanks, and all associated process piping, valves,fittings, and instrumentation. In addition, a complete building structure including structural concrete, masonry, windows, doors, wood trusses, standing seam roofing, and a variety of architectural finishes.
